I rarely ever post in the mining section, but I did yesterday or the day before in response to one of philipma1957's posts. If I didn't delete the PM I got, I'd post it here, but my post was (I thought) on-topic. I basically said that I found solar mining fascinating and wanted phillipma1957 to post a link to a Youtube video that he had made reference to in the post to which I was responding. But my post got deleted.
I'm assuming that moderation in the mining section is very strict, but if that's the reason that OP and I got our posts deleted, I think it's way too strict. But anyway, I sent phillipma1957 a PM instead and got an answer from him.
OP, in general you're going to have your posts nuked from time to time, and there's nothing you can do about it. It's just something we all have to accept. There's no need to start threads when it happens. And believe me, every section is different as far as strictness of moderation.
