Is it just me or does this fight telling everyone that Mayweather bout won't happen. I mean if they wanted to fight each other than they are getting older each day meaning they won't have too much to make that happen, we do not want to watch a 60 year old Mayweather and Pacman fight we want it now, hell we feel like the first fight was too late anyway so this one will be too late and maybe they do realize the same thing and instead of this huge one big final fight that would make them a lot of money, they decided to have 3-4 smaller fights and just call it a career?

I know just because Pacman is fighting Thurman doesn't really mean he won't fight Mayweather neither but it just feels like the chances are now a lot slimmer and that is a bit sad that we didn't got the chance to watch a rematch.

Thurman is a great pick. No need for MP's staff to push for Mayweather bout if the other party isn't interested anymore. It will just look that Pacquaio is hungry for a rematch. MP promotions have lots of great boxers on the list that Pacquiao can face before his retirement (maybe 2-3 more fights).

Just imagined the first fight took 5 years* in the making. What's more in the expected rematch. Mayweather also saw and witnessed how good Pacquaio at his age fighting young and peak boxers since Jeff Horn. He might think that his record is on the verge of being dusted.
