I believe it's not impossible to win, but the of winners are very low compared to the rate of losers, that would result to a profit in their side.
What we need to understand is we should be realistic, and stop chasing success if we don't have that gift to be consistent.
What do you mean when you say gift to be consistent ? Consistent on playing or consistent on luck ? But anyways i still agree on you that its possible to win on gambling as long as you have a luck and as long as you are a wise gambler that takes profit imediately and leaving the gambling scene after you won .
What I mean as a gift is talent or the skills, if you have that you will be consistent in winning.
Consistency though does not mean you win in a daily basis, with your skills in playing skilled based games, you can win in the long run and also involves factors like self control and bankroll management.
I know some people who are winning in sports gambling, so I can say they have the skills that gives them consistency.
