I've just setup Raspibolt and am doing a dive into this. I don't know what number of channels it can handle.
I'm curious as to how much resources having over 200 channels takes. Would also like to know how many transactions pass through your node. If you don't mind sharing.
Not familiar with the limitations of running BitcoinD and LND on a RasPi. Using a Xeon server running Linux. Regarding system load over the last 150 days with over two hundred channels established, with 8333 closed to the public for incoming due to the amount of bandwidth I was serving.
load average: 0.09, 0.16, 0.13
model name : Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E3-1220 v3 @ 3.10GHz
I am wanting to help bootstrap some Bitcointalk related community nodes that are looking for more incoming liquidity, but have set a minimum level in order to reciprocate. For example, with my limit of 3,000,000 SAT to establish a channel with me, I will then establish a 6,000,000 SAT channel with you in return. I do not wish to divulge routing or other stats at this time - it is not important, and the fee structure is such that I am unlikely to see the server paying for itself in a foreseeable timeframe. I am proud to be a top node, and having respectable channel minimums is part of my MO for growing the node into the future. I hope you can understand my reasons.
