He is referring to the fact that you earn more with a big bag when you stake once a week than if you would get by staking 24/7.
But its not a Bug, its a feature.   
Once pot has more tx this will change.
Also the client can have a lot of addresses to stake, not only one with all the pot on it. 
Actually there is no need to run it 24/7 with big amounts...
If you do extra work that is not necessary you will not get extra money, in fact you get less here.
