when i try your client without data it runs without issue
also the -rescan attribute seem to had no effect. I tried multiple times

Another proble i have tried also the 0.96 version with i2p activated
put download stopped at Block 869999

so basicly impossible to progress i guess

any ideas?
which OS do you runs and did you istall any runtime package?
