I always see cryptocurrency as the new hope for a better world for the next generation. If only all the people around the world knows how shady the people in the bank industry do their evil deeds. There are also a lot of complaints of theft going on in several accounts but these banks don't really care to reimburse it unless it is shown in the media. That's a lot of money and we could never know if the banks did not really know anything about it.
Here in India, the banks are behaving very arrogantly nowadays. They are charging interest rates far higher than the repo rate on loans, and have recently implemented a number of additional charges on almost all the services (such as cash deposits and issuance of cheque book). However I won't complain about the theft of the funds. One of my friends fell victim to credit card scam, and the bank reimbursed the amount after one month. If you could prove that the theft was not due to your fault, then the bank usually reimburse the amount.
These are the only few reasons on why we need cryptos because crypto itself can act as you own bank . you can control your own cash and that is a good idea right ? Other than lending it to someone else that you dont know in which they promise to keep your money safe . the goodness of storing money in crypto is that its not only safe but you do also earn alot of interest much morw than if you store your cash on banks .
