If it's going to be a stable coin then it's not something you want to buy as an investment, just something to use. As a speculator you will want to stick with bitcoin instead then change to globalcoin when you want to buy something
I agree it will be heavily regulated might as well stick to Bitcoin and other top coins in the market, but we'll see I don't want to judge how this coins going to perform, but I don't see it as another threat to Bitcoin although some people already speculate the possibility.
For bitcoin it will not be threat. But for crypto market it is possible.
Most likely, Facebook will be reason for its users to gain more trust in crypto market. That is, more people will ask themselves:
- What is blockchain in reality?
And they will begin to study this technology. Only problem is whether these people will be able to get true answers to their questions.
But in my opinion, Facebook will prevent users from getting true information from his platform. Let's recall relation of Facebook to crypocurrency over the past year.
