It seems you are correct. I have a skylake running linux, a haswell running windows and a ryzen
running linux. The ryzen and haswell both need affinity set, the skylake doesn't. I would extrapolate
that a ryzen running windows wouldn't need afinity either.
Seems odd but it's not an issue with the miner. Thanks for all your help. It's difficult when I don't
have the precise environment to reproduce certain problems.
