Honestly, the best way to prevent fraud is by spreading awareness in the community. Being naive can easily become victim of any type of scam. Scam can also look legit and you'll just find it's a scam after your money was stolen. But if you are aware right from the start of the scam then you will notice the hints or clues of it being a scam. People will always try to fool people for a lot of money when they become desperate or just plain lazy but want to live a luxurious life.
