Anyone with ANY financial insight or traditional trading experience - sold bitcoin and their altcoins at or near the top. Only FOMO noobs bought bitcoin and altcoins at/near their all time highs and then ALSO rode it all the way down without selling. You scale in, you scale out, and you trade the swings and corrections. You dont buy into a market after its longest breakout upwards and then hold it as it drops significantly.
