They are always referring blockchain as the technology yet saying bitcoin is the asset that run on it.
So can you view it as blockchain as the engine and bitcoin as the fuel?
This makes more sense when trying to explain the difference between to the two when someone without any technical knowledge asks you to give them  an analogy of bitcoin and how it works.
