i don't think this can happens this year i think next year after solving scalability issues we will see a real upward movement in ethereum price good luck for everyone believing in the future of cryptos
Yes. First, Ethereum needs to scale for it to increase in demand within the mainstream world. After this happens, prices can rise exponentially towards unprecedented levels. People have remained indifferent to Ethereum, unlike previous years. This is largely because, the dev team has been constantly delaying the Casper PoS upgrade for the Ethereum blockchain. By not keeping their promises, people have been pouring money into other alternatives on the market which prove to be the next big thing in crypto.
Still though, Ethereum could reach prices above $2,500 if Bitcoin manages to gain traction. There's a bull market which is bound to happen as soon as new investors pour money into cryptocurrencies. With ETFs, institutional investors, and STOs coming soon, things will become better for Ethereum and the crypto industry in general.
Nonetheless, there's no doubt that ETH will reach $2,500. But during the year, it could very well reach $1,000 per coin according to Bitcoin's slow price movement across the crypto market. Just my thoughts
