It's impossible to get the $5 xrp when your kyc is still pending. You need to complete your kyc and get it verified before you can complete that stage. I'll advise you leave the airdrop for now and wait for your kyc to be approved before trying again

yeah u are right ..I confirmed with one of the admin of bcnex he said kyc process is going to take 72 hours .i hope my kyc will get approved.

But is the KYC mandatory or can you just complete the four other tasks to get $20 in XRP instead of the $25?

The kyc is mandatory to receive the $20 xrp, I believe the team effected this policy to control the issues of multiple accounts and ensure that one participant doesn't get rewards for more than 1 account.
