FatCats website has held auctions without a lower limit for several weeks. The bets are made only in BTC. Every auction has its own unpredictable story. For example, the DJI quadcopter went up in price by 5 times at the last minute and was sold for 0.08 BTC. There were lots sold for 2 or 32 US dollars (the US dollar equivalent to BTC). As well as a painting of a contemporary artist went for 0.1 BTC at the auction.
