I have never believed Facebook coin to be cryptocurrency, because the only coin that I will call cryptocurrency are the ones that truly represent decentralization which is the main purpose of creating cryptocurrency using blockchain technology.
what is the essence of cryptocurrency if we cannot have it in a decentralized way, it would rather be better we stick to fiat digital payment, and then we know we are still operating a full centralized digital payment, because that is what Facebook coin is, Facebook will still have full control, and access to peoples information and activities through the use of their Libra coin.
