Hey Ryan_cprt!
Crypterium is a means of payment just like using a credit card or exchanging funds via WeChat in China. Crypterium will do everything necessary to comply with all current and future financial regulations, but at the end of the day, it is not our task, nor the task of Visa or WeChat, to report spending to any tax authorities. If the laws on this change, then, of course, we will change with them, but right now we are focused on delivering the best digital assets payment services available anywhere in the world.
Crypt0scientist, Aren't there tax fees associated with exchanging Crypto to fiat? From what I understand, if I exchange my bitcoin to fiat on Coinbase, I would be required to fill out tax form, Schedule D, at the end of the year and pay tax on capital gains. However, if I choose not to cash out any profit made and just use the Crypterium's services to pay for stuff, then there is not need to fill out any tax forms? How does that work exactly?
