I dont find a problem sending on the blockchain, it will clear after a few hours.   Its just not an instant send unless you pay the larger fees then sure that could be a problem as not all of us are rich enough to just ignore the cost and it can be a larger %


Otherwise I would just say BTC scales, use 10x less if the price rises that much.   I was here when BTC was 100 and people thought it was alot then too.
