Facebook and Libra are focusing on Financial area. Is there any other area that blockchain can be used?? It's hard for me to imagine anything else.
Blockchain is not just for cryptocurrencies but it can be apply in different industries.Its the main reason why there are a lot of ICOs popping out out nowadays proposing to solve different problems in different areas and ecosystems.
The challenge I have with some of the ICO that are proposing solutions to the problems that blockchain would have ordinarily solved, are themselves not fully acquainted with the whole blockchain technology itself, they only implement certain percentage of the total package and that is all, they release it and does not get the full response from its product.
Most ICO now only see blockchain technology from the aspect of cryptocurrency and then avenue to raise fund, there are so many projects that I have seen in this industry with very solid blockchain concept, but they dont get to see the light of the day as a result of mismanagement and lack of passion from the side of the project developers. Blockchain is really much more than what some of these ICOs are using it for or call it to be.
