Don't expect much from JR. Member Rank. There is usually no sig. campaigns for this rank, advertisers are not much interested in this rank.
The best thing you can do now is to rank up by making quality posts, when you will make quality posts than there is a chance of getting merits.
If you made a quality post but haven't got merited then you can report your posts in the mentioned thread to get some merits, I hope it will help you rank faster.
