That is so wrong you simply should not have touched the fan without coming here.
You dont have to cut the wires there are little metal pins that can be released by pushing on pins that are on the side of the connector .
You then slip in the pins on the new fan.
S11 gear t15 gear s15 gear t17 gear s17 gear are more complex.
The controller the psu talk to each other. And shorting your controller is easy to do using the wrong fan.
At this point you may need
A new Psu
A new fan
A new controller.
Good luck with your repairs.
By the way a substitute fan that looks like the original may not work even if was wired correctly.
As it may not have proper amps.
Barring all this bitmain gear breaks often and you may not have done anything wrong other then trying to correctly fix your fan.
Did you unplug the working s11 and use its eth cable on the dead gear?
