no its not working that way but its the opposite  . alts and toks only increase if ever btc will rise but when btc falls both alts and toks will also follow its trend however this wont work at all times because there are times that btc , alt , and toks will only move on thier own based on the demand that they get from the public .  @op i hope this solves your queries  .  it is really bad for alts when btc is dropping but you shouldnt alarm because the drop is not permanent .  sooner or later all cypto coins can always recover and increase again  .
