Making this GPU proof is simple. Make it a primecoin fork with low starting difficulty around 7.0 or less. This will allow everyone with lower end cpus a chance at finding a block before the difficulty gets too high and favors only the overclocked i7's

no it wont.. all it will do is give a botnet operator a very good chance at taking most of the coins.

So, why support this pricks? If you'll make the coin easy mineable at laptops, suckers with botnets will take it. If you'll make GPU coin - GPU farmers will be first etc etc
I believe the only "fair" algorythm is PoS, and it makes sense. You believe in this coin? Then buy it and you'll have more and more!
Hey, we're keeping the algo and code pure from MAX, its a little challenging on the build side as keccak is quite new but PoS (and I'm a big PPC fan) is not really part of the scheme I'm afraid sorry
