I also first entered the crypto world thinking like you because what I got was not what I expected before. but the more my curiosity about the crypto world made me learn a lot about crypto. so that experience is important especially for beginners like you have to learn a lot to be successful in crypto.
I think curiosity for some newbies becomes quite limited once they got its benefits after that. The thing that makes newbie boxed in their newbie jail is that they stay in what they know and dwell into that for the rest of their life in cryptocurrency making their capability to survive in it limited. It sucks that it leads them to emotional trading, causing easy panic after just a few dips in the price of the coin they've invested. It's not surprising as it becomes a syndrome in real life anyway.
