There is something going on but using alts as a sign that this is a fake bull run is a mistake since this could be simply explained by investors becoming smarter and not willing to invest their bitcoins in speculative projects that have no guarantee to go up, however the almost nonexistent growth of altcoins against bitcoin could just mean that when altcoins finally wake up the profits are going to be even greater than in other bull runs, so as you can see it is too soon to give a verdict about what it is actually happening since there are many explanations that we could give to try to make sense of what it is happening in the market.
