You say it isn't premined.... But it IS premined.
Ever heard of a test net?
It's premined.
I mined somewhere between 170sh and 270sh depending on the coin. It was necessary to test the transactions; testnet isn't that reliable for release.
If I kept those coins, they'd have to increase in value to 3 cents each just to cover the basic development costs; not to mention the ongoing monthly cost.
My plan was to give them back out.
Just like with Vampirecoin, I'll give two blocks worth (204 coins) to the first 25 people who post their Zombiecoin wallet addresses. That will eat up 50 blocks right there.I'll have to send them later tonight after Lycancoin launches and I have some breathing time.
As for the high difficulty, I don't know what else to do. There's just a lot of hashing power out there that gets directed to these coins at launch.
You've put more effort and have ended up with a higher quality product than most of the coins that have come out in the last few months.
Some people are bitter about anything that isnt BTC, LTC, or XPM.
BFLJosh and other do have a point, but until someone actually comes out with something actually innovative in the altcoin world, its clones with new pictures for all.
Dont blame the devs, blame the people who keep buying them at 10-100x what a miner can get with LTC.
And spending time with your daughter and making her a little crypto-nerd seems to be better purpose than the other Scrypt coins
