That's why I always ignore and report someone who is offering an investment to me by sending me a direct message first. If you are in crypto currency for a long time, it's not new for you since the actions of scammers will be easier for your to determine. Thus, in crypto I'm too allergic when someone whom I don't know talk to me about their business.
Indeed this incident is obviously a scam attempt, good thing op didnt bite the offer.
Its quite common nowadays to have such an offer which is too good to be true, and if you're not careful you might really end up as a victim of these scammers.
Its better not to entertain if someone approach you offering a huge earnings if you invest or something related, especially those who are asking for you to pay first.
it surely scammers won't succeed, we know already this kind of works and we are all aware that makes them fails.
OP did the best but how about the others? I'm afraid if they are caught by their offers. It possible those people who want to move their funds easily might fall into their trap.
