No. The first coin would have been still (a) Bitcoin, but it would have had smart contracts.

What would have happened then? Well, the code would have been cleaner and better maintained, some things would have been thought better so certain token hacks would have not been happening, no ETH/ETC split also... all in all possibly the coin price would have been bigger. But Bitcoin also deserves a much higher price and still doesn't have it.
I can't imagine people playing the kitty game on main net though 

On the other hand, Bitcoin has counterparty, which is not used as much as it could, Bitcoin allows side chains and colored coins... somehow not as attractive for the community as playing with Ethereum tokens. So who knows...
