Giving the fact we extended the presale dates, as I explained in the previous log entry, several changes had to be made as well. After reviewing the Bounty Campaign, it was obvious the need to extend dates applies in the same manner, therefore we have change the end date til 31st this month, giving four extra weeks.
At the moment all the team is hand-on updating the participants progress spreadsheet, we will meke sure is done by saturday, so when the extention begins, al the rewards for the original period are clear and participants have the chance to share with us any issue or doubt they may have.
The bounties remain the same, so are the rewards. For next mont, a different campaign will be designed after we analyse the results of the present one.
THE PITCHBOARD
If a group of filmmakers is working on a project, whether its in the script stage, or further along, the Filmgrid platform can be used to obtain funding for the project. Pitchboard financing comes without additional commercial commitments than to register and upload the resulting movie for sale in Filmgrid without expiration. Additionally, if the Creative Team sees fit, the film can be played at festivals or private screenings without any restrictions on Filmgrids behalf.
There are three types of project financing: Production Fund, Presale and Production Pool.
When registering the project, a given type of financing must be chosen for the funding period; the funding period varies depending on the chosen type of financing. Projects may seek financing in as many funding periods as they want, as long as the same project has not been previously financed on the platform. Financing types may be different in subsequent periods.
