It depends on your goals. I think it would be nice to share your investments, and give both of them the opportunity to earn money for you when the market goes up.
If you mean splitting I guess that would be a good idea, so if ever things turned to your side then you'll going to get more, but always depend from what you understand and make sure that you are always in control of your investment, sometimes emotions killed your trust so make sure you have good control of it.
