Sportsbetting is fine but it adds too much complexity and it is by own a complete different profession to be mastered. Stake and Primedice were always good for luck based games but sportsbetting is something a lot different.
When you host luck based games it is all about mathematics.
In sports betting however, it is mostly about mathematics, but every once in a while there will be cheaters. (fixed games) That's a serious risk for a casino.
I guess it is not like it would be shocking to see pd/stake sportsbook becoming huge. We already have like a ton of sportsbooks and I am not gonna lie they are not half bad, there are decent ones out there and I personally have few that I enjoy. However, at the end of the day it is pd/stake we are talking about and we all know they would create the best sportsbook in the whole world not just in crypto.
Plus sportsbetting is probably the most played game all around the world, there are 17 countries that are illegal to gamble but allowed to sportsbet so all in all when you combine a greatly played game plus a greatly run organization, it is just too obvious why people can't wait for pd/stake to start their sportsbook. I would probably bet on it on day one and keep betting there forever.
