I wouldn't give bitcoin to people who know nothing about it, and especially not physicial. But perhaps a cascasio coin could be nice indeed.

I don't know anything about https://denarium.com/, but if you do end up using them, always use multisig in case they go bust. (Although, if you're going to gift the coin, this might become a hassle, especially if the user you're gifting it to doesn't know anything about bitcoin.  )

You can use OpenDimes. It's basically a USB stick that you plug into your computer, you send funds to it, and then give it to someone. The wallet is sealed, and you can only spend the funds If you break some part of the stick. I suggest checking the videos on the site.
