Bitcoin is on the run for some months now and it has significantly increased from $3700 bottom to over $13k but the price of altcoins is dragging and its not really following the trend. My question is that when will altcoins join the current rally in crypto market?

That's correct, all we need here is to continue to be patient and wait for our time.
As for now, I'm happy with bitcoin recovering but will be happier if the altcoins will also recover, we can call this a big success for the crypto world.
There's still plenty of time, the year has finished its 1st half and I'm very optimistic in the 2nd half.
