The things you say are indeed widely used by bounty hunters to start participating in them and what you say might help beginners to find out which projects are good to follow because most beginners only participate without knowing or analyzing them first and I just add to read the whitepaper.
Yeah, you really have to read the whitepaper. You have to understand what kind of project you are promoting. Anyway, bounty managers matters for me. I always background check the managers that handle that project.
