I'm pretty sure that a game doesn't get proclaimed as the "Game of the Year" until it receives those awards and/or has enjoyed its fair share of game units sold later.
I agree, +1 on this matter 100%! You can hype a game all you want, but the proof is still in the pudding. Gameplay must be really engaging and enticing enough for the gamers to continue playing, if that's the real goal, aside from using ILCoins in-game.

Game of the Year already? Roll Eyes Although I gotta admit that it's certainly a bold proclamation for any video game to achieve or proclaim, while there's still no basis yet whatsoever. The premise is great though, but let's take it easy on the kool-aid guys.
