As i really do understand what you saying i have to defend bitmain move. 30 units must be sold- if this is one person or 30 people is still 30x1,45btc so for bitmain there is no difference.
Limited stock is something which usually make issues for sellers. Demand is big and all know that. BITMAIN is first company who actually delivering stock not promises. I bet they working hard to open sale for more s1 soon.

What do think is better, selling 30 units to one person who will never come back as they have all they need, probably souring a lot of potential buyers that will not return or selling 30 units to 30 different people who will probably come back for more? Bitamin is a big company with big future plans, not someone selling stuff on fleabay... and I'm sure they'll wise up to that fact sooner rather than later
