Getting a clearer connection between USD and USDe is fine, but if the coin aims for US only I am out.
It is a major step back in what the coin should stand for. Worldwide free and easy trading for all.
again, USD is a US currency, but it is used all around the world in almost any country. At the same time it's US and global currency. Thus there's no reason we should choose somehow (US or glob), as we easily cover both. If it was JPYe or UAHe I would probably agree that it's limited to a country. But saying the same about USD/USDe is a bullshit.
