It's hoped that Ethereum gets past $1,500 and beyond within a matter of time. Still, we cannot say for certainty that ETH will reach prices of $1,500 per coin by the beginning of 2020, since the whole crypto market is greatly unpredictable. Many people used to predict that 2019 was the year when Bitcoin was to rise again towards new All-time-highs. Yet, it's the time where the pioneer cryptocurrency is below the ATH of $20,000 per coin.

Despite the facts, we all know that sooner or later, Ethereum will rise again. Its main trigger in price largely depends on Bitcoin's uptrend in price across the market. Whenever Bitcoin rises exponentially in price, so will Ethereum and most other altcoins. The opposite happens when Bitcoin declines in price. Now, people are waiting for Ethereum to adopt it's PoS upgrade. When this becomes a reality, I believe that prices will skyrocket for ETH within a short time frame. This is because, there will be FOMO within people in the mainstream world (especially newcomers into cryptocurrency). There will be a lot of hype surrounding Ethereum, as rewards increase to holders of the coin.

Nonetheless, there's no doubt that Ethereum will rise again in price. But I'm afraid, that will take some time as the market is moving at a very slow pace. Just my thoughts
