Since 2011 have stolen millions of dollars from exchanges, account theft, security breaches, phishing, some recovered others filed for bankruptcy. The solution adopted by governments to improve security is to implement more stringent and regulatory policies.
This is a list exchanges hacked 2011/2018, I hope I do not have to update this year.

I Never know that Coinbene has been hacked this year, because I'm one of traders in this platform. But suddenly wondered why I cannot enter into coinbene even my 2fa all of a sudden failed to enter the code always. That could be the reason why? But I noticed that etherdelta was not there in the list, As far as I know it was also hacked right?
