Listing on exchanges does not guarantee the grows of the price. Price will grow if tokens will be in demand and it will be big trading volumes.
Of course if the listing in a small exchange does not guarantee the price will go up, but if the listing in a large exchange like binance is of course guaranteed the price will rise and the trading volume is very large
Listing on big exchange also doesn't guarantee the token will be worth more than now. Take a look Sonm token as example, even thought it has been listed in binance more than a year ago, their price still below than ICO price until now
I strongly agree with your opinion, however, Sonm tokens can be used as an example so in my opinion now it can be concluded that listings in large exchanges are not a guarantee for the price to rise
