Good decisions are based on sound reasoning and in depth research and a basic understanding that more times than not if you do the direction you choose, you will be right. It is STILL not a 100% guarantee that it is going to lead to the right decision! Good is not necessarily right!
I feel it dude. Not all decisions that we think right will absolutely be right, it is still subject to change. Thus, we need some basis to have a final decision and such a thing can give us any chances to be right and give a better result. We can eliminate mistakes, but not to think that we should have to commit such a thing in life in order to learn.
