Bitcointalk even has lot of members and tons of threads related to altcoins and all the crypto projects prefer bitcointalk for their ANN than others.
You are absolutely right, but the two do not rule out each other.
I didn't said anything about the forum you mentioned,just mentioned how popular that bitcointalk was/is and will be.
