This is not a good strategy that can make you beat the odds that come along with dice gambling platform's, your strategy seem not to work for the panic individual gambler's because you started with a lost and continued till you win the game, which in my opinion you can end up linearly losing the whole games. Thus strategy is based on purely luck and not strategy to win outrightly.
We need to be filthy rich to start martingale with $5 bet! Martingale is not based on pure luck, it`s mathematics, the problem with martingale is that you need to have a huge bankroll to survive losing streaks. Losing streak on 49% to win can be more than 20 loses, now you do the math and calculate how high can 21-st bet be if you start with $5!
I mostly bet on 77% ( around 1.3 odd), here you need to triple your bet after losing. Very often I run into 6 losing bets, and at that moment things start to get tricky for me. I think that martingale works for some time, but after making some profit we need to chill and try later, long-run always bring long losing streak, moments when we lose the entire bankroll.
There is still scope of losing. Even if it is small chance of losing but before a huge bankroll it is too much to risk. You may never know when a red streak will eat up a good chunk of your bankroll. People run by blind belief that a lose streak beyond 20-25 is near to impossible and not close to happen to them but that is not the case. I've myself hit a 23 streak once at 50% chance and I am sure there might be someone who had been more unluckier than me.
