So, next time when someone tells you that Crypto currencies are used for scams, please highlight the fact that most scams are still being done under the nose of the regulated financial industry. 
And how about stretching the word scam a little further? If it is a dishonest or swindling scheme, then perhaps we can include those that are directly regulated by the government.
Here in the country I am living, the government itself has a lot of insurances whose membership are even compulsory to many employees. And since there are so many questionable rules and policies that are not even clearly spelled out to them, they often end up not benefiting anything from these insurances at all.
Look at that! I guess the largest scammer does not use cryptocurrencies at all. Or do governments use them?
