It is possible for someone to pay for coffee using Bitcoin is quite an ordinary thing, but I am sure that such trifles should not be paid using Bitcoin until the cost of a transaction on the Bitcoin network is even cheaper.
With Lightning Network, fees will drop significantly, however, it's still not that much although fees are same way volatile as the price of bitcoin.
I understand that prices in Bangladesh are very low compared to the US and even a fee of $0.1 when you buy a $1 coffee can hurt because why would you pay 10% more if you can use cash and have that one free cup every 10 days but in the US and the EU LN fees are acceptable, but you have to buy in bulk. To buy a single cup you will have to probably pay twice its price but go with friends and pay the bill for the evening and that $2 fee will go unnoticed.
