As if Mayweather will accept that easily,according to some news he has been offered huge amount but yet he is keeping the word Retiredso I guess this is only two things,he wanted the price to go up or he really mean about the retirement he did in 2018
Meayweather knows how to promote a fight really well, he knows that people wanted to see the fight between Manny Pacquiao and now what he will do is to create a fan interest so that everyone will wait for the fight to announce and then he will come out of retirement and fight yet another biggest pay per view fight that will break all records and make a quarter of a billion dollars in half hour time. He is brilliant in his approach to fight as well as to make money.
This social media spat between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather maybe a start of the promotion of the rematch but i think people already knew the style of Mayweather on promoting fights. I don't say that this won't sell but people will just shrug it off and think that what they say on social media is purely hype for the rematch.
