But during this time, a lot many of the cryptocurrency users will make their investments in them, and once the dump starts, they will lose money. The promoters are intelligent enough to dump their coins close to the peak prices. Since the pump is initiated by them, they know about the suitable target to sell the coins. The other users don't have this advantage. Most of them will either sell before the pump, or after the dump has started.

This has happened to a large number of crypto users, and even I have lost huge amounts in these shitcoins, starting from 2014.
