I haven't read the entire thread, but my thoughts on this is that whoever this person is they are trying to bring crypto's to the forefront of folks that might not think of this as real money and using this as a way to change their minds.

By creating transactions that will never confirm and cause confusion than amongst newer users? I'm sure there must be better ways.
If this person really wanted to spread the word of crypto-currency, he should have started giving out amounts that people can use.
