It says "For security, your account has been locked", so maybe it's not really a ban. However, I've seen another user with the same message while he was actually banned (for some reason).
I'm pretty sure it was manually locked by admin for a reason if he was banned recently his userid should show up on modlog page, or recorded on bpip
also seclog doesn't show anything on his username too,
so it was not auto lock because of "password reset via secret question"

if he was banned for that plagiarism, why can't we see it on modlog page? and the given email address is locked...@ not banappeals...@ ? a bit strange
