Basically if you're posting a short reply to the title of the thread or to the first post of the thread without reading the 10+ pages of existing posts and without engaging in any kind of discussion - it's most likely a meaningless post. Before posting ask yourself: Does my post add any value to the thread? Will anyone want to read it? Will anyone learn something from it, or feel enticed to respond, etc?
